Camera crews and fans flocked to the grid at 5:00pm local time on a hot and humid Florida night to meet and greet the competitors for the first ever FARA race under the lights at Homestead Miami Speedway. Several thousand people braved the hot temperatures and the darkening skies typical in the evenings during Florida's rainy season to come see their first Ginetta. The #88 Avid Motorsports prepared Ginetta G50 sat on the pole for the MP2A class between a Ferrari and two BMW M3s, its usual drivers Shane Lewis and Adolpho Rossi surrounded by fans bearing Sharpies...but not just to have the drivers sign their hats, but also to get a chance to sign the Ginetta.
