Florida Rider Training Program comes to Palm Beach
The Basic Rider Course's Core curriculum is designed to teach beginning motorcyclists of all ages the physical and mental skills necessary to ride safely on the street. The course includes basic motorcycle operation, maximum effective braking techniques, turning skills, and obstacle avoidance maneuvers. There are 5 hours of classroom instruction and ten hours of "hands-on" motorcycle training. The program Rider Coaches are experienced motorcycle operators and nationally certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.

Palm Beach International Raceway and MTW Promotions are hosting Sled Truck Pulls this Saturday, July 24.
Sled truck pulls is a competition where trucks pull a heavy sled along a track. There will be eight different classes running – ranging from 5,550lb. small block stock to 8,000lb propane or NOS class. There’s also a street stock class, a true “run what you brung†group.

Palm Beach International Raceway and MRP Motorsport recently hosted the Palm Beach County Concierge Association for a night of teambuilding.
More than 50 concierge association members filled the MRP Motorsport karting center before branching out to experience what Palm Beach International Raceway has to offer – including rides around the 2-mile, 11-turn road course and the quarter-mile all concrete drag strip.

The pavilion at the road course at Palm Beach International Raceway is currently undergoing a few improvements – including a member locker room for the Palm Beach Driving Club and a private lounge area.
The entire tent was taken down, cleaned and will be put back up this week. A new floor will be put in, along with new lighting and walls. The new and improved tent will also feature a business/ track telemetry center.

Contest winner rides in "Shark Attack" |

Palm Beach International Raceway and MTW Promotions partnered together to give a lucky winner a ride in “Shark Attack†(pictured left) during the side-by-side mud bog on Saturday, June 19.
The mud bog was a huge hit as the parking lots were filled and more than 2,000 spectators packed the stands to see more than 100 jeeps, trucks and buggies fight their way through a mud-filled 300-ft. pit.

Jason Rittenberry, president and CEO of Palm Beach International Raceway and the Palm Beach Driving Club is representing the facility the next two days at the Florida Facility Managers Association (FFMA) conference at the Four Seasons resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
“I enjoy attending conferences like the FFMA,†said Rittenberry. “Not only is it great place to network and build new partnerships, but it’s very interesting to hear different perspectives on facility management. I’m able to bring new ideas back to PBIR after conferences like FFMA and it is beneficial for us.â€
