Rittenberry to appear on "Beyond the Game" on CBS 12

“Beyond the Game” is an opinion-based sports show featuring panelists from within the sports world. The show covers a variety of topics from football to motorsports.

PBIR Hosts Super Bowl Media Day in Palm Beach County

IMG_4969Palm Beach International Raceway played host to Palm Beach County Sports Commission’s Super Bowl Media Day on Monday. The event welcomed former Super Bowl athletes and the media to PBIR for a chance to interact and check out everything Palm Beach International Raceway has to offer.

Although rain tried to dampen the day’s activities, the staff at PBIR and the Palm Beach County Sports Commission worked around Mother Nature’s nuisance to provide visitors an entertaining afternoon.

Sled Truck Pulls This Saturday!

Truck_Pulls_Jan_-_RevisedPalm Beach International Raceway has teamed with MTW Promotions once again to host sled truck pulls this Saturday. With seven different classes this event is sure to put on a show.

Sled truck pulls, also known as power pulling, is gaining popularity in the area. It’s a competition using large trucks to pull a heavy sled (sledge) along a track. The farther the truck pulls the sled, the harder it is to pull it.

PBIR Adds Three New Employees

PBIR_Logo_4CIn an effort to assist Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) in reaching its full potential in the Palm Beach County community three new employees have been added to the staff.

Brent Hutson has been added as the web-master and graphic designer, Melissa Misak will serve as executive assistant to President and CEO Jason Rittenberry and Leah Vaughn was named public and media relations manager for PBIR and the Palm Beach Driving Club (PBDC).

Jason Being Interviewed

Palm Beach International Raceway's President & CEO, Jason Rittenberry, interviewed with RaceFanRadio.com and GoRacingTV.com at the 22nd Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade show in Orlando, Fla.

A ten-year veteran in motorsports, Rittenberry discussed industry trends; however he stopped in the middle of the interview for a friendly wager with Dan Anderson of USF2000 National Championship.  Both Rittenberry and Anderson have drivers in the CKI Karting race at Performance Racing Industry.

PBIR boasts last years winner, IRL pro driver and PBIR's President of Karting and heads out to win this year's race.
