JUPITER, Fla. - Palm Beach International Raceway hosted Import Face-Off on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 on the quarter-mile drag strip.

169-imports and domestic entries lined the staging lanes to take the light competing in various drag classes, including: SPEC Clutches and Flywheels SFWD Quick 8, Forced Performance Street Class Quick 8, Hybrid Racing All Motor Quick 4, Outlaw  Quick 4, Outlaw Quick 4 Motorcycle Bracket and Central Performance Bracket Classes.

The 4,000-plus spectators observed thrilling races coupled with a Car, Truck, and Bike Show, Stereo Crank It Up Contest, Hot Body Contest and a Burnout Competition. Food vendors added to the event, along with exciting crowd giveaways.

"Import Faceoff was a great event to have at our drag strip," stated Ron Dixon, Palm Beach International Raceway President. "The competition was fierce and the fans really had a good time."
