Weekly Quarter-Mile Test and Tune
Wednesday, March 30 at 6pm
Palm Beach International Raceway hosts the weekly Wednesday Test and Tune. Held on PBIR’s all-concrete drag strip, the Test and Tune is open to all makes and models. Bring your favorite drag car to PBIR and see what it can run in the quarter-mile. Gates open at 6pm. Test and Tune entry is $25, crew and spectator prices are $10 and children 12 and under are free.
Karting Arrive and Drive
Wednesday, March 30 & Friday, April 1 at 5pm
Take a break from watching the races and get behind the wheel at MRP Motorsports at Palm Beach International Raceway. The unique 11-turn, 8/10 mile road course offers all the versatility and flexibility needed for pros and amateurs alike. One of the smoothest driving courses around, the track features full lighting and is a Sanctioned Master Track by the World Karting Association. The track is home to various club race series and hosts three-hour endurance races several times a year, and also the prestigious Florida Winter Tour. Race for as little as $55, includes all safety gear and training. Gates open at 5pm.
Southern Hot Rod Association (SHRA) Test and Tune
Friday, April 1 at 6pm
In addition to the regular PBIR Friday night Test and Tune, SHRA participants get their final test passes complete for Saturday’s big show – SHRA Heads-Up Shootout. Gates open at 6pm. Test and Tune entry is $25, crew and spectator prices are $10 and children 12 and under are free.
Southern Hot Rod Association (SHRA) Heads-Up Shootout
Saturday, April 2 at 6pm
More than a dozen classes take to Palm Beach International Raceway’s quarter-mile dragstrip for the Southern Hot Rod Association (SHRA) Heads-Up Shootout Points Series race. Besides racing, fans can watch the Battle of the Bands as seven bands take to the stage.
Participant prices for April 2 SHRA are: Index Classes (6.50, 7.0, 5.50) - $85; Quick 16 Dragster, Quick 16 Door Car, X275 and Hot Rod Import - $100; SHRA Outlaw, Pro Mod, Outlaw 10.5, Stock Suspension - $150; Pro Street Nitrous - $125; Gamblers Race - $50. Crew - $15. Spectator prices are $15 for adults and children 12 and under are free. Gates open at 8am and first round of qualifying starts at 11am.
Florida SCCA – SARRC/TES/FES/Vintage
Saturday and Sunday, April 2-3
The Florida Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) hosts the South Atlantic Road Racing Championships (SARRC), Tropical Endurance Series (TES), Florida Endurance Series (FES) and Vintage racing at Palm Beach International Raceway. The SCCA is the sanctioning body for road racing, rally and autocross amateur and professional racers. This weekend marks the debut of the new Tropical Endurance Series, designed to meet the needs of endurance racers who want to run for a Championship without traveling out of Florida.
One-day spectator tickets are $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free. Two-day spectator tickets are $15 for adults and children 12 and under are free. Gates open at 9am and first round of qualifying starts at 11am.
PBIR Outlaw Street Drags
Sunday, April 3 at 6pm
Check out some of the quickest cars and head-to-head competition during Palm Beach International Raceway’s Outlaw Street Drags. Grudge racing at its finest with no scoreboards – first to the finish line wins. Race entry is $25. VIP Parking is $25. Crew and spectator prices are $10 and children 12 and under are free.
