This Saturday, February 7, 2009 ET Series Race #1, the first of the points earning events for 2009. Gates open 12 noon, time trials 1 p.m. followed by eliminations at 5 p.m. The program will be different then in the past with racers having to sign up to be a member of Team PBIR. All competitors shall earn points for the first three events. As of March 1, racers will be charged a $25 membership fee if they chose to be a member The fee will include an ETI (quick tech) sticker and  the ability to earn points towards qualifying for the 2009 NHRA Div. II Summit ET Finals next September. Points will be awarded as follows; staging 10 pts., 10 pts. per round win and bonus for the winner, runner-up and semifinalists. No more purchasing points. Classes to be contested are; Super, Pro, Top Bike, Street Bike , Sportsman and JR Dragster. A year end bonus fund will be paid along with race entry to the qualifiers All Summuit ET Series races will run 1/8th mile.
