Palm Beach International Raceway Announces Change to IHRA Summit SuperSeries Bracket Series

Tuesday, January 28, 2020
JUPITER, Fla.- Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR), announces that after feedback and consideration from racers that PBIR will return to a first-round buyback format.
Beginning with races two and three on February 8, 2020, racers who lose in the first round of eliminations will be allowed to buy back into the second round. The cost for buyback will be the same as what the re-entry cost was for the four IHRA Summit SuperSeries classes.
“After considerable feedback from racers the staff at PBIR felt it would be best to go back to the buyback format rather continue using the re-entry format,” Palm Beach International Raceway General Manager Bobby Carville said. “This program has always been about the racers who compete for points who are the backbone of Palm Beach International Raceway.”
All racers attending PBIR’s IHRA Summit SuperSeries events must fill out all tech cards and payout information completely or their entry will not be accepted.
