MRP Motorsport, operators of the karting center on site at Palm Beach International Raceway, has launched the “Speed Karts Oval League.” The oval karting league will run on the oval section of the karting course between turns 1 and 11, eliminating the most technical part of the track and opening the karting course for all experience levels.

The Formula Kart Racing Florida Winter Tour brings more than 200 drivers of all ages and locations to Palm Beach International Raceway, including 2005 IndyCar champion Dan Wheldon and IndyCar driver Jay Howard.

The tour is in its second weekend at the Palm Beach International Raceway/MRP Motorsport karting facility and the tour owner and promoter Bill Wright is pleased with way the event is going, including the changes to the track.

Rotax continues to gain momentum within the United States! Rotax Distributors, MRP/GoRotax.com & SRA Karting team up to provide additional technical support for all Rotax customers at this weekend's Florida Winter Tour event at Palm Beach Int'l Raceway.

To this effect, MRP/GoRotax.com has partnered with SRA Karting, Canadian distributor for Rotax to bring Darrell Smith over for this weekend's Florida Winter Tour event at Palm Beach International Raceway. This is an effort to provide even stronger customer support and confidence in the Rotax program.

Palm Beach International Raceway is excited to announce a partnership between their on-site karting track and MRP Motorsport.  The partnership will allow MRP to operate the karting property at PBIR, and work toward the goal of the karting facility to reach its full potential within the Florida karting community.

Together, PBIR & MRP Motorsport will be creating a junior development program as well as several "Speed Schools" for kart racers of all experience levels. Programs will be available for all budgets, including corporate entertainment, team building and parties.

JUPITER, Fla.  - - The open-wheel standout, Jay Howard is amongst the well-known drivers competing in the Fourth Annual PRI CKI Karting International All Star Classic on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at the Performance Racing Industry Tradeshow in Orlando, Fla.

One of the most unique races anywhere, the PRI CKI All-Star Karting Classic features great drivers from a diverse array of professional racing series, including NASCAR, NHRA, IRL, ALMS, Grand-Am and ARCA.

Starting November 21, 2009 karting open practice will be from 9am – 4pm.  Arrive and Drive will start at 4pm instead of 1pm.  Open practice is finally getting  busy in preparation for the Winter Tour. Come out and join the fun!!!
