JUPITER, Fla. - Nick Mazeika, rider of the Miami-based PlaythingsRacing.com dragbike took to the ¼-mile drag strip at Palm Beach International Raceway's "Midweek Mayhem." The 20-year-old rider will pilot his bike in the AMA Pro-Street Class during the 2009 AMA Dragbike Championship Series.

The Woodbridge, N.J. native was pleased with Palm Beach International Raceway's all-concrete drag strip. "The track is really smooth," stated Mazeika. "I heard the old track was really run down, but running on this new track is great! It is really fast."

In 2008, Mazeika broke all records in his class and looks forward to the 2009 season opener in Valdosta, Ga.
