 The NHRA season opener in Pomona, Ca., is just 23 days away. Meanwhile on the east coast, a score of nitro team are kicking off their annual spring training at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Fla. The next four days are reserved for private testing but on Friday and Saturday, the facility opens to the public and even more teams seeking to knock off the snow and get back to business.

Seasoned Funny Car driver Del Worsham made his initial hit in an Al-Anabi Top Fuel dragster on Monday. This marked his first run in a dragster dating back to the mid-1990s. He is looking to complete his cross-over licensing this week.
