NSCRA action postponed due to weather |

Due to the severe weather forecast caused by Hurricane Danielle and Tropical storm Earl for the West Palm Beach / South Florida area, The National Sport Compact Racing Association officials have postponed Round 4 of the NSCRA South East Regional championship series at Palm Beach International Raceway that was scheduled for Saturday August 28th and Sunday August 29th.

Old School Outlaw Racing Rained Out |

The Kwik Rick Old School Outlaw Racing event was cut short due to rain. The event is not rescheduled for Sunday, Aug. 21, 2010; however ticket holders are able to use their ticket for any Kwik Rick Old School Outlaw Racing event within the next 12 months. Kwik Rick Productions and Palm Beach International Raceway appreciate your patience this evening and look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event.

When SPEED TV returns to south Florida to film several episodes of Pass Time on August 19 and 20, Palm Beach International Raceway is opening spectator gates for free!
The popular drag racing game show is hosted by Brett Wagner and features Ken “the House” Herring as he competes with two contestants to see who knows drag racing elapsed time’s best. The contestants have to come to a conclusion how fast the cars can make a pass down Palm Beach International Raceway’s all-concrete drag strip and if they are the closest, they win money and bragging rights.

Palm Beach International Raceway officials have moved the start of all IHRA Summit Super Series points races.  Beginning July 10, the gates will now open at 4 p.m. and time runs are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and eliminations will start at 7 p.m.

In March of this year, the SPEED TV crew packed into Palm Beach International Raceway to set up for their first taping of the 2010 season for PINKS: All Out, hosted by Rich Christensen. All of the drama captured during taping at Palm Beach International Raceway will unfold on air on tonight at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.
PBIR’s quarter-mile, all concrete drag strip was chosen as the first venue on the 13-event season. The show visits some of the largest and most prestigious venues in the country, including Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill. and zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, N.C. The show was at the track in 2007, before the facility underwent renovations.

"Night of Fire" Canceled! |

Palm Beach International Raceway was forced to cancel an exciting evening of drag racing and fireworks. Unfortunately, rainy weather at the track and throughout the area caused PBIR officials to cancel the event.
The race will be rescheduled for a later date that has not been set yet. All racer entries and spectators will be able to use their tickets purchased for this event at the rescheduled event later this summer.

For the first time in Thunder Jam history one of the most recognizable race machines in all of motorsports will make its debut in front of thousands of screaming fans as the Grave Digger Monster Truck comes to Palm Beach International Raceway Saturday, October 9 for one of the biggest Thunder Jams in the history of the series.
Standing nearly 12 feet tall with 66 inch tall, 44 inch wide tires and weighing in at nearly 12,000 pounds, Grave Digger is one of the most popular race machines on earth and on October 9 Grave Digger will use its 2,000 horsepower Chevy Big Block engine to make a full quarter-mile pass against a guest opponent during the Thunder Jam at PBIR.

The National Sport Compact Racing Association invaded Palm Beach International Raceway over the weekend. Under beautiful skies all weekend, the NSCRA staff put on a car show, bikini contest and had several different classes tearing down the quarter-mile, all concrete drag strip.
