Friday Night Test & Tune Closed Due to Severe Weather Forecast

Jupiter, Fla. (April 19, 2019) - Palm Beach International Raceway officials have decided not to open for Test & Tune, Friday, April 19, 2019, due to a severe weather forecast. Heavy thunderstorms and rain threaten the area around 8:00 p.m.

"We think it's best not to open this evening for Test & Tune to ensure the safety of our staff, fans, and participants," Bobby Carville, PBIR General Manager said Friday afternoon. "There's a good chance that we'll get a lot of rain around 8 o'clock tonight and we don't want to send people driving home in the worst of it."

Saturday, April 20, 2019, PBIR and Chuck G Entertainment will host Crunchtime Outlaw Grugdefest 5 "All the Smoke." Gates will open at 3:00 p.m. and the track will go hot for slicks and drag radials test & tune at 4 p.m. Grudge racing and class shootouts will continue from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Adult general admission is $20, racing tech cards are $25, and general parking is $5. VIP parking is offered for $50 and includes driver admission.  PBIR will return to its regularly scheduled Test & Tune next Friday, April 26.
